Library Statistics Nigeria
There are about 290 public libraries. That’s 0.15 per 100,000 people. Global average is 6.4 That is a huge gap that needs to be filled.

Access - provide library services to at least 3 local government areas.
Training - Literacy and green skills programs to schools and adults
Collection - Curate special collections on sustainability and environment

The project involves the design, research, education and building of sustainable/green community libraries across African regions.
The first is planned for Ibadan, Nigeria and the target is to have it opened in 2026. -
The physical library will serve over 200,000 people who live in the community and surrounding areas. With the e-Library and digital resources we aim to reach all learning communities in Africa and globally.

We have appointed a board of advisors and overseers who will ensure the project's objectives are achieved and resources including funds are used wisely and efficiently.

To achieve long term economic viability, our funding goal is between $50K to $200K per year over the next 3 years. The project will be financed using partner and sponsor contributions, grants, and green/sustainability investment schemes.
